Is this commen kitten behavior?

I just got a 7 week old kitten and he is litter trained, but goes in some of the conrners in the house to i dont know what to do, and when he does use the litter box he cries(i only have the kitten no ther cats) i had cats in the house before.

It sounds like your kitty may have a urinary tract infection. This will often cause your cat to relieve himself in areas other than the litter box because he associates the litter box with pain.

If he is crying when he poops, he may need to have his anal glands expressed. Yes, it sounds gross. But when a cat’s anal glands get compacted, they cause the stool to not flow freely when the cat uses the litter box.

Typically a cat will drag his bottom across the floor when his anal glands need to be expressed.

Either way, crying when he poops or urinates is not normal.

Take him to the vet as soon as possible.
