How long do cat allergies last?

About 10 years ago I took an allergy test and found out I’m severely Allergic To Cats. I heard that allergies go away over time, so my question is, how long do you think it will take for my Cat Allergy to wear off?

There’s no set time. Allergies can come and go and can also stay with you your entire lifetime. You’re also not likely going to be allergic to every cat you encounter. I’ve had cats my entire life and only recently started reacting to one of them. Have you tried allergy meds or allergy shots? I take Allegra D daily and I’m fine around my cat.
