Malaysian athletes enter the National Stadium during the opening ceremony for the Beijing 2008 Olympics in Beijing
I’ve just finished watching the Beijing 2008 Olympics Games - One World One Dream - Opening Ceremony LIVE, what can I say - it was a brilliant show, and the best ever opening ceremony! 
From the start ’till the end, I can’t move from my sofa, although I have to go through the Olympics athletes parade of all 204 nations participating. The most amazing is the centrepiece of the Olympics stadium, nicknamed the “Bird Nest“. During the opening ceremony, there’s one part where they sang a song while doing flying bird act with both hands. Everybody in the stadium is doing it, looks very supportive and unique! 
And of course the traditional dance, lion dance, dragon dance, and fireworks was a perfect shows. 
With all that, another part that makes me surprise was when Li Ning lights the cauldron of Beijing Olympic Games. The was meant to be a surprise and secret. Who ever watch it on TV will never know when the torch will be light up. By passing it from one athletes to another athletes, at the end of it, Li Ning suddenly lifted by a computer-controlled wires on his waist. The 45-year-old Li Ning imitated running along the 500-meter-long, 14-meter-wide brim of the bowl-shaped, roofless top of the Bird’s Nest, which is also a gigantic screen. 
While he was running on the gigantic screen towards the huge cauldron, they played the videos of the Olympic torch’s global relay, covering a record distance of some 137,000 kilometers in 129 days, closely following Li’s running paces as if a painting scroll was being unfolded. Amazing isn’t it! Walla! It was so cool! Flying and running on a huge screen. 
I believe when China showing brilliant opening ceremony, they will also showing amazing closing ceremony. I will be watching Olympics Games everyday for sure. I’m might not a sportsmen, but I love watching sports! Happy Beijing Olympics 2008!

The Opening Ceremony of the Beijing Olympics 2008 was really fantastic . This certainly proves that China is a superpower .
